The Companies have established a 50/50 partnership for the development of energy transmission projects in India, each investing an initial amount of approximately $150 million in the development of four transmission projects. The projects have a circuit length of nearly 1800 kilometers of transmission lines across Western, Southern and North Eastern regions of India.

This Investment will create a pool of valuable transmission assets which are extraordinarily attractive to yield-seeking investors. AMP Capital’s (one of Australia’s largest retail and globally ranked in the top 10 infrastructure managers)  investment is another testimony of continued trust reposed on Sterlite Power Transmission by the investor community.
